Paella is a famous Spanish dish originating from Valencia. Traditionally made with rabbit and snails, it has evolved to include various seafood and meats, becoming a symbol of Spanish cuisine worldwide.

Ingredients

  • 300g rice
  • 500ml chicken stock
  • 200g shrimp
  • 200g mussels
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Saffron
  • Olive oil

Directions

1. Heat olive oil in a paella pan and sauté onions, garlic, and bell pepper.

2. Add rice and stir for a few minutes.

3. Pour in chicken stock and add saffron.

4. Cook for 10 minutes, then add shrimp and mussels.

5. Cover and cook until seafood is done and rice is tender.

6. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
